COURSE OVERVIEW

God’s Word makes it clear: His purposes for Israel and the Church are central to His unfolding plan of redemption. Yet few subjects have been more misunderstood, neglected, or even resisted in the body of Christ. This course is an invitation to come back to the Scriptures and see afresh God’s covenant faithfulness, His calling on Israel, and the Church’s role in provoking Israel to jealousy as she is revived and walks in the fullness of the Holy Spirit’s power (Romans 11:11, 26).

Over twelve weeks we will trace the story from God’s covenant with Abraham to the return of Jesus. We’ll look at the covenants, the prophets, the cross, and Paul’s great exposition in Romans 9–11. We will also face the modern realities of Israel’s history — from the Holocaust to the rebirth of the State of Israel and the ongoing conflict in the Middle East — and ask how we can walk in both justice and mercy while holding fast to God’s eternal purposes.

This is not just about information, but transformation. Each class will combine teaching with discussion and space for questions. Our aim is to understand the Word of God more clearly, encounter His heart for Israel and the nations, and, as the church, be equipped to live as God intended in this hour.
